WOW! What a landslide. And to think that there was doubt that he would get it (yes, I had some too...why? Because I'm a Packer fan, that's why. Irrational fears come with the territory.)

Anyway, congrats to A-Rod.=d> Let's hope this is just the first of many!

I expected it. He was just a runaway selection the talking heads had to invent some competition for him. There was still none.

Congratulations to Rodgers, although it feels like kind of a hollow victory today. I wonder how many regular-season MVPs have won the Super Bowl that year.

Using The AP's Voting for NFL MVP only these 5 QB's have won the honor and went on to win SB MVP.

Did not go back any further than SB years. Did not check on RB's, I'm thinking Emmit Smith right off the top of my head might have won both.

After checking Emmit Smith only RB to win both....1993 season

The only 2 players to win regular season MVP and win SB but not SB MVP
