Yep, I felt the last game of the season should have been treated like the 3rd preseason game. There was ample time for recovery with the BYE week already. I'm not saying that is the sole reason the Packers lost ... I just think it contributes to the offense being out of rhythm with Aaron Rodgers a little.

Dammit pro-football-reference.com. They didn't update this year's Playoffs yet.

Yes, 5-3 is correct. I blame my source. [mfing]

There. There's my source. As of Saturday February 4th 10:52 AM PST, it says 5-2 record.

I don't remember every single football fact out there. Sometimes I have to look things up. And yes, as you can see, it's missing the 2011 Playoffs but I didn't check at the time.

Alright alright already.

Next time, I'll check Wikipedia instead of pro-football-reference for my facts.

Which I should anyways. I send Wikipedia money every year. I don't contribute to pro-football-reference.

That is correct.

My main issue with the end of this season was I feel there was too much rest. Rodgers should have played the first quarter or even first half of the Lions game.

When you think about it a lot of our guys had 3 weeks rest and came out flat. Sure we had turn overs and they got a lucky hail mary but we came out with no fire at all and the Giants were red hot the same way we were last year during playoff time. A team that had rested for 3 weeks against a team that had been in playoff mode for about a month at that time the outcome wasn't surprising.

I think the defense was the main culprit, with the receivers second as why we lost.
It seems the 1st round buy is more of a hurt then a help. Last season the Packers whipped up on the #1 seeded Falcons, this season the Packers bought the farm.
The last 2 SB winners, 10-6 and 9-7 in the regular season.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
    Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
