And, with that final incompletion, he's down to 5.2 yards per attempt. No surprise, I suppose, considering he only completed two passes inside the 10 all year.

By the way, am I the only one who noticed the bizarre bug on the digital line-of-scrimmage marker on the last play? Instead of stretching horizontally all the way across the field, it started to veer diagonally toward the end zone about 10 yards from the right sideline. I've never seen anything like it.

Tim Tebow hops and skips like a little girl as he releases the ball. It makes the girls giggle.

Tim Tebow is not a traditional QB at this point.. little to argue about that. Hell he isn't a NFL caliber passer at this point... can't argue that either.

But lets not close the book on him becoming a NFL caliber QB.

Most talk about his delivery.. go back and look at Elway's delivery for example. Long striding throw.. slow mechanically unbalanced delivery.. yet he was highly regarded as a passing QB.

The argument that Tebow throws at a low completion rate.. no doubt or argument can be made about that fact either.

But then use the same example at QB.. John Elway.. his first starting years completion percentage was only one percentage point higher than Tebow's.. 1 point. Hell John Boy only was over 60 percent 3 seasons in his career.

Now I am not saying Tebow is going to amount to jack at the QB spot.. but the kid has delivered on the big stage at times already. So I am not going to sell him short that he can't develop into an NFL QB.. especially with Elway getting involved in his development.

What I am sick of is the media's obsession with all things Tebow.. the only positive of that is it has buried the media's focus on a former QB from Mississippi.

The only conclusive thing I can say about Tebow.. the kid is a gamer. A trait that say a Flacco and Sanchez with more nature talent lack.

I don't like mentioning stats along side Tim Tebow and John Elway. I think it's as absurd as trying to compare Barry Sanders to Dimitri Nance! Tim Tebow is a great leader, so was John Elway. As a passer, the difference with John Elway was he had a cannon for an arm whereas Tim Tebow has a noodle. That means, there's little room for improvement... or rather hope of improvement.

Disagree with the statement.. hell the knock, albeit proved incorrect now, is that Rodgers didn't have the arm strength coming out. A couple tweaks of the mechanics later.. dude can throw it on a frozen rope all over the field.

BTW... I don't think he has a "noodle" for an arm.. but he sure and the hell has some faulty sights at this point.

I want to say I remember people knocking Aaron Rodgers arm strength, but I can't.

What I said, which somehow has been lost, is if a QB has a rocket for an arm, there's more play to improve his abilities passing than a QB who has a noodle.

What I seen from Tim Tebow was a guy who's a phenomenal leader, but abandoned his progressions and has very poor accuracy with a weak arm that cannot seem to throw a spiral. I think if he gets a really good QB coach, a lot of his short comings can be corrected. I don't see him ever being a top QB in the NFL in the sense of a passer.

No rocket arm = no chance for improvement.

My point on Elway to Tebow was more with accuracy, hence the completion percentage comparison and throwing motion, than arm strength.

Not many QB's had the arm strength of Elway.. that is a rare breed in my opinion.
