Not sure about you? But I plan on sleeping just fine Saturday night. For those of you who are a little worried about Capers Crew. Judge wrote an compelling story for CBS Sportsline..

I am sharing this with you...

Enjoy.

I read that article the other day, it's a good one albeit obvious (at least his points had already occurred to me). CBS Sportsline is weird... All of their writers that cover the NFL have about 50% crap/stupid articles, most of the rest are alright but occasionally they post something really good.

Also, their rating system on their message boards/community is crap. You have a 99/99 "Value", and if you post something that's less than a certain number of characters or if ONE person gives you a 1/5 for that post, suddenly your value plummets to 30 or so.

I have been saying yards are irrelevant all year. Some dillhole on CBS says it and poof, we are all good?

Come on man.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

And truth be told, everyone knows yards per attempt is what matters most. Duh! [duh]

It's a good article, of course. I don't tend to panic about yards given up very much anyhow. I would prefer a defence that is a bit more effective than than the one we have seen all year, but I don't lose sleep over the D.

It won't make me any less nervous though. It's the playoffs and no matter what, anything can happen, which is the reason for the nerves.

Yards don't matter . . . if you have a high-scoring offense.

If you have an offense that stalls as often as Denver's, then yards absolutely do matter, because field goals can win.

The NFL ranks its 32 teams by yards, but I don't know many coaches who do

Yeah, and I don't know anybody with any credibility who ranks by yards either.

I thought this was 🐴 already.

Our defense hasn't ONLY been giving up yards in situations where we've had significant leads. So yeah, it does concern me. Giving up yards DOES matter, just not as much if you've got a great offense.

The yards don't matter if they get the turnovers. If they fail to get turnovers it makes for a frustrating game.
