I can understand the sentiments here, but I also understand where the refs are coming from. I have been a baseball umpire for little league through high school for many years, and it is INCREDIBLY difficult. Things look completely different on the field vs. anyone watching on TV and even most in the stadium. I'm certainly not one to defend refs, but when this stuff happens at lightning speed, it may look just like whatever call they made, despite what we see at home. It's a judgement call. It's not a conspiracy, it's just an imperfect human potentially blowing a call. It happens and is going to continue happening. When a call is made, however, one must stand with it with conviction. It's easy to question the calls, but really, unless one has personally reffed college or NFL football games, they're not going to quite understand how things actually appear on the field.
With that being said, I have NO idea what happened on that Jennings fumble. Live action, I can believe about anything, but there's no excuse for blowing a review. That was shocking.
