With the opportunity to draft a QB to allow themselves an opportunity (much like our situation in GB) to have one franchise QB follow a HOF QB do you see Indy throwing the game Sunday to ensure the #1 pick?

The thing that could be ugly is that they are playing the Jags who in their mindset would likely not want the Colts to get another guy who will punish them in their division for another 10-15 years.

Will this game be on the up-and-up? How will the league react if there appears to be some draft gamesmanship going on?

My personal opinion is Indy should play to win. One has to get all the way to Miami and Washington (drafting 7 and 😎 before we see a team who will be looking for a QB. Jumping up to Draft #1 if St. Louis has the pick would be extremely expensive. I think that "if" Indy is drafting #2 it still puts them in the best position to get Luck if that is who they are coveting. Swap the picks and add a few later draft picks should get it done I would think. St. Louis dropping down to 7 or 8 likely puts them in a position where they may not get the player they want.

Thoughts?

The Jaguars have that Blaine Gabbert (sp) fella they just drafted last off season. I'd be more inclined to think the Colts would tank before the Jaguars would tank. With that said, I think they'll both play all out hoping to end the season on a 'positive' note.

I think the NFL should adopt a draft lottery. It would help end any possibility of manipulation of games at the end of the year.

Plus remember Luck didn't win the Heisman the qb from Baylor did so there will be a few quality qb's taken in this draft. On that note I would love to see Green Bay draft Russell Wilson in like the 3rd if he is there.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Besides there is no way that the players will allow themselves to be put on a lowlight reel on purpose. There careers depend on how good they are. Sucking on purpose would lower their market value.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
