I think Obama is a lot more like the Republicans than his platform of "change" that he ran on would indicate. What a pile of shit for an economy that man inherited, but his opposition would have people believe it all began in 2008. That makes about as much sense as Steelers fans thinking the NFL began in 1973. Obama is a much better Commander in Chief than I ever thought he would be. At least he bagged a few terrorists.

I'll pray for him for another 1 or 5 years, depending on if one of those mooyacks running as an R can beat him. Brewsters Millions boys "None of the above".

As for that bill, most of us should be appalled with any sanction of government giving themselves more rights and power.

If the best candidate people can come up with is four more years of Pinhead, vote None of the Above. The office is better vacant for 4 years.

I wonder if such a move would pass Constitutional muster? Does the Constitution require that the office of the President be filled at all times?

Unfortunately, Americans don't have the guts that it would take to vote None of the Above. Indeed, at the bottom of it, Americans don't want quality presidents and congresspeople. They just want people who give them what they "need."

I voted NOTA in 2004. And may well do it again if the GOP doesn't get their act together. Because the current Pinhead, just like the Pinhead Who Preceded Him, is unfit for the office. If the parties can't put anything but Pinheads on their ticket, then fuck 'em.

If you vote for a Pinhead, you're part of the problem.

I truly believe this.

ok, all is right with the world - i agree with wade. shew!!

seriously though - the saddest part about all of this is strict R's will vote straight ticket & so will strict D's. everybody talks a big game, gives some great sound bites, has the solution to our nation's problems in the palms of their hands, but when push comes to shove nobody will do anything different. and when i say 'nobody' i mean the vast majority of Americans.
