2008 Opponents

Home [8-0]

W - Minnesota Vikings
W - Dallas Cowboys (Gold Pkg.) - Tony Romo is so embarrassed he takes his helmet off and starts crying in TO's arms. TO shoots himself when he gets to his hotel room.
W - Atlanta Falcons
W - Indianapolis Colts
W - Chicago Bears (Gold Pkg.)
W - Carolina Panthers
W - Houston Texans
W - Detroit Lions

Away [3-5]

W - Detroit Lions
L - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
L - Seattle Seahawks (but we spank them at home in the Playoffs. You think last year was a spanking? You ain't seen nothin' yet)
L - Tennessee Titans
L - Minnesota Vikings
W - New Orleans Saints
L - Jacksonville Jaguars
W - Chicago Bears

11-5. A good season. 8-0 at home. It's about time we dominated at home again.

We sweep da Bears. I hate Lovie Smith. I think next time I go to New Orleans, I'm going in one of those Voodoo shops and I'm going to find some Caribbean woman who barely speaks English, slap down a pair of hundreds, and ask her to make me a Lovie Smith doll. Then I'm going to kick it in the nuts. That's what Lovie Smith gets for making me lose big money in the Super Bowl several years back.

Well.....after the Packers beat the Lions today, your prediction will be proven wrong.
And Ted Thompson won't be fired at the end of this year.

I was a Packer fan until they sold their soul to Ted Thompson. Everything I loved about the Packers was thrown out the windows with they way Packers management treated one of their greatest players ever and I'm in shock over how quickly many Packer fans have turned on Brett. Love the players, but hate Packer management. The Packers have lost all class in my book.

IF the packers were to go 5-11, you don't think Ted Thompson would lose his job?

Bad call on the Lions game. Guess Ted is safe for another week.
Ted Thompson will get the GM of the year again at the end of the season. MM will get coach of the year. You heard it here first.

I have to accept responsibility for jinxing the team, my apologies. I hope we can at least finish 7-9. Aaron has got some mad skills, just hope he AND THE TEAM can pull off 2 out of 4 on the final stretch.

Hahaha, you didn't have to dig this up. Pmanning was quite accurate there.

And the last post on the first page bashing Panthers and Delhomme... priceless.

FanInNH also did pretty well, only 3 of 6 on who we beat were correct though.

dd80: 6-10... damn, all these haters go it right.

Bavpb got it right too.

"The Packers going 5-11 is about as likely as George Bush getting a 3rd term." brnt247... // That wasn't really far though.

I got it way wrong too. We seemed pretty optimistical on the season. Too bad we screwed all our games up in the last minute.

Urgh. Once again, I'm off by 5.

'07 - I predicted 8-8 and we finish 13-3 (well, 14-4 really).
'08 - I predicted 11-5 and we finish 6-10. 😞

Mucky Tundra (18h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (19h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
