Everyone see Mortenson's report that Earl Bennett won't be allowed on the field if he tries to wear orange shoes again?
If true, it's seriously whacked on the part of the NFL.
Matt Stafford and Nkamadong Suh on separate occasions try to take a guys helmet off. One gets no fine and the other gets a 7500, and Bennett gets whacked first 5000 and then 10000 for bad shoes.
If I were a Bears player/leader, I'd have everyone but Bennett agree to wear orange shoes this week. (Not that the Bears have that kind of real leader.)
I can understand why NFL players don't trust Goodell and his office. They define "tools."
