Brady having within 53000 votes of Rodgers makes me want to vomit. I know it's a popularity/name recognition concept, but Jesus Jumpin' Christ....

In the NFC, the leaders are

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers,
Packers fullback John Kuhn,
Packers tackle Chad Clifton,
Packers guard T.J. Lang,
Packers center Scott Wells,
Packers kicker Mason Crosby,
Packers inside linebacker Desmond Bishop,
Packers cornerback Charles Woodson,
Packers free safety Morgan Burnett,
Packers special-teamer Jarrett Bush.

Lang, Burnett and Bush are the ones I'm a little surprised to see there.

Thoughts:

These are better than they have been in most years (like last year Mankins with only a few games played, and Brandon Meriweather who was possibly the worst safety in the league leading at their positions). Still though, some of these are just painful.

- Michael Oher? Really? I know he was featured in The Blind Side, but in a conference with tackles like Joe Thomas, Michael Roos and Andrew Whitworth I really wonder how knowledgeable these voters really are.

- Maurkice Pouncey is very average. Chris Myers is having a beast season, not to mention Nick Mangold who's been the premier center in the league for a while.

- Chad Clifton? How many games has he played again? Bryan Bulaga would be a great choice, he has thoroughly beasted this season, but apparently people recognize the name Clifton more. Jordan Gross and Tyron Smith should also have high votes

- T.J. Lang is just ridiculous. The NFC is packed with superstar guards, even we have one better than Lang; Josh Sitton. Carl Nicks, Jahri Evans and Evan Mathis should have also edged him out easily

- Ndamukong Suh, just wow. He hasn't been doing much anything this season. Most overrated player in the league. How about Justin Smith at DT here, he's only been like the best defensive player in the NFC for 3 years now.

- Charles Woodson does not deserve that spot. I'd even give it to Tramon before him.

- You'd think Burnett and Harper don't deserve those spots, but the NFC is really really weak in safeties this year... try to think of anyone that's been better this season, it's not an easy job.

Luckily fan votes don't count for everything, and players and coaches get to vote too.
