Oh, I freely admit I was skeptical about the contract. I am all for keeping homegrown players, but it's rare I am going to be enthusiastic about making them the highest-paid players at their position.

So far it's panned out and the front office looks like a bunch of geniuses. I hope it continues into the next few seasons.

Sebastian Janikowski the highest paid kicker in the NFL?

Edit, according to this yes and Mason Crosby is 8th.

At Mile High? That very same kick at the Metrodome would've been good from 63. Just think what he could've done if he had a club-foot like Dempsey.

Also, Crosby and Janikowski should have a kicking contest once.

Lastly, I think that this thread needs some Ironman.

But I think Crosby would be much more dependable at any distance short of 55.
