I feel Aaron Rodgers will get the AP NFL MVP. Some may throw Drew Brees or Tom Brady, but consistently speaking, Aaron Rodgers has out performed them both in my opinion.

Rodgers has to be the frontrunner at the moment.
When debating who else is in the running, one name pops up that i cant fathom, Matt Forte.
Yes he is the bears offence, yes he is racking up lots of yards on the ground and through the air. He is however a RB with a TON of touches but next to no touchdowns.
How can a RBs name even be mentioned in the running for MVP when he not getting in the endzone?

Watched Brady - he licked ass. In fact, I'm taking the Jets to win that division. If we don't step on our own dicks, no one can touch us this year - and Rodgers will be winning his first MVP and 2nd Super Bowl MVP.

Let's revisit this thread.

Brees - 70.9 Cmp%, 3326 yrds, 23 TDs vs 11 INTs. 101.3 rating. 0 rushing TDs
Brady - 65.4 Cmp%, 3266 yrds, 25 TDs vs 10 INTs, 102.5 rating. 0 rushing TDs
🇦🇷 - 71.8 Cmp%, 3475 yrds, 33 TDs vs 4 INTs. 127.7 Rating. 2 rushing TDs

Stat summary - 🇦🇷 has the clear lead, but to be fair, all 3 have pretty solid seasons. The thing with 🇦🇷 though is this will go down as one of the best QB seasons EVER. No way Brees or Brady can beat 🇦🇷 at this rate. Not even close.

Now let's look at supporting casts. I've heard it argued that Brady makes WRs better. You know what? They're right. He does. But so do Brees and 🇦🇷.

Under 🇦🇷, Driver's career has been prolonged. Driver's last Pro Bowl season was 2007 and he only caught 2 TDs that year. As GB's 4th WR (statistically), Driver has already matched that this year and the previous years under 🇦🇷, has been averaging 5 TDs a season, despite being past his prime.

James Jones was a deep threat under Favre but is once again a deep threat. 5 TDs and an 18.8 average. Pretty impressive.

Gregorious already has 8 TDs and Jordy Nelson, who every other NFL team overlooked, has 9.

Yes, Gregorious was good under Favre, but Favre, like Brady, is also a Hall of Fame QB who makes receivers better. It's not a valid argument.

Brady and Welker are putting up absolutely sick numbers together. Welker should make All Pro once again this year. Let's not forget that it's Belichick, not Brady, who fell in love with Welker's ability. Brady happens to be the one throwing passes to him. Brady's passing style is different from 🇦🇷's and is actually closer to Favre when it comes to TD preferences as Brady is a TE guy. 15 of his TD passes are to TEs vs "only" 10 to his WRs.

One could argue that Brady resurrected Deion Branch's career to which I'd say Branch was never an elite WR. He was always a solid WR and never more than that. It's coincidental. Branch was injured and this year has been injury free. Has nothing to do with Brady (unless Brady was doing some magic to protect Branch from injury while on the Pats).

Brees - someone else has to write up Brees. I don't follow the Saints like I do the Pats. I find the Pats fascinating as Belichick is an evil genius. The guy I watch on the Saints is Sproles because I liked watching him on the Chargers and knew the Saints would get a steal when Sproles went over there. Sproles is an upgrade over Reggie Bush. Sproles is a better return man, is quicker, and more deceptive. I can't really summarize the rest of the team.

Wow ZS, you really like giving Aaron Rodgers head............[roflmao]
Fan Shout
beast (11h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (11h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (20h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (20h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (23h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
