Week 22? Typo or am I missing something in this "fantawesome" post?? :-"

I'm starting to lose interest in James Starks being "the guy" for '12. Although, he was impressive in that final drive yesterday. I just wish he'd stop dancing so much. The thing I liked about him the most was how direct he ran to the hole. Now it feels like he's auditioning for dancing with the stars when he gets a hand-off.

And I agree about Starks. When he avoids dancing and just attacks the LOS, he seems to do much better.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

I figured I was missing something on the Week 22 thing, just couldn't figure it out. I thought you were saying by the time week 12 rolled around the Packers hit their stride and were the top team.

All things considered, I really don't give a rip if "everything starts with GB running the ball" or not. I do care if every game ends with GB running the ball. Especially if they run the ball 3 or 4 times and then take a couple of knee down running plays.

Seemed to me when they needed the yards, they went behind Sitton. I guess Newhouse isn't necessarily that much of an upgrade against the run. Glad to see them seal the deal though. Be interesting to go back and watch the game again to see just how well they ran it to various sides and whatnot.

Since the Packers missed out on resigning Daryn Colledge, running to the left is out of the question. That's what happens when you lose a future HoF Guard on your OL. Factoid!

ESPN Splits 2011 regular season rushing totals:

BY PLAY DIRECTION	ATT	YDS	YD/A	LONG	20+	TD	YDS/G	FUM	FUML	1DN
Right Side 41	245	6.0 40 2	1	0.0 1 1	13
Left Side 34	106	3.1 14 0	0	0.0 0 0 8
Middle 27	100	3.7 14 0	2	0.0 0 0 9
Left Sideline 29	130	4.5 17 0	1	0.0 1 1 6
Right Sideline 41	128	3.1 20 1	1	0.0 0 0	10

Rushing to the right side = 6.0 yds/attempt, rushing left = 3.1 yds/attempt.

Combining Right side & right sideline = 373 yds / 82 ATT = 4.5 yds/att
Combining Left side & left sideline = 236 yds / 63 ATT = 3.7 yds/att
Middle = 100 yds / 27 att = 3.7 yds/att

Looks like running right > running left or running middle

When rushing, I prefer to rush to my right as well. I wonder if I was left hand/leg dominant if I'd prefer the left?

Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
