Saw this elsewhere, found it interesting how similar some of the advice turns out.
What advice would you give to yourself at the then age of 16?
Mine would be something to the effect of:
1. Get over that "puppy-love" of yours Blitz. You know, the Farah Fawcett "one-that-got-away". She balloons up to over 200 pounds, has 6 kids & is still not happy. Talk to those other pretty girls in H.S. they're just as intimidated as you are.
2. You will go to college, stay in school or you will end up in joining the Army, getting out & being stuck 1/2way around the world, working a deadend job with an awful boss.
3. Should you join the Army anyway, don't marry that German chick with the great rack. Oh, and when they put you in front of that prototype computer hooked up to communicate with another computer, imagine how you could make money with it because almost everyone will soon have one of those things.
4. If you can't imagine how, then invest in the folowing companies when they appear: Microsoft, Apple, Google.
5. Stop smoking, you idiot. You say you'll quit when cigs hit $1.00 a pack, but you don't until they break $5.00 some 30 years later. Drink, but learn your limits. Work out more.
