If a Packers WR drops a pass, he has to buy each WR a $100 Best Buy gift card . I was thinking, shouldn’t this money go towards the QB rather than the other WR?

Click the link and read the article. It's pretty interesting. I'd put more effort into this, but pretty pissed off at the web host right now.

But the gift card thing is cute I guess. How about if they drop a pass, Aaron gets to punch them right in the face.

I'm not sure how much teeth a $100 penalty has for a cadre of wide receivers each making millions per year. (With the possible exception of Cobb: not sure what his contract looks like.)

I still think the money or card should go to Aaron Rodgers, not the other receivers.

David Garrard used to donate $10,000 to a Irritable Bowel Disease research group for each touchdown pass he threw. I'd like to see more things like this going on, as opposed to more meaningless money circulating around millionaires. Whatever gets them going I guess, as long as I continue to see results on the field.

They should make a new rule that any WR that tips a pass and is intercepted should give Rodgers $500. 2 of his 3 interceptions are tipped passes.

When I hear tipped pass, I right away think the QB threw the ball too high or behind the receiver. Therefore, tipped passes I feel would be the fault of the QB, not the receiver.

Although, I also feel if you can get both of your hands on the ball, there's no real excuse for not catching it.

I wonder how much they pay A-Rod when balls bounce off their hands and get intercepted? If I recall correctly, that was basis behind two of A-Rod's INTs this year (including the last game).

Imagine his numbers if the receivers just held onto the ball or at least batted it down and not up. 😱

When an interception is the result of a tipped ball it should be counted as a team interception and not counted toward's the QB's number of interceptions. JMHO
