Wow what a great game.

McCarthy coached a solid team tonight. Newhouse stepped up big. Run blocking was good. A-Rod was sharp as always.

On D, we made adjustments and played to our strengths. Clay with another one of those disruptive nights that doesn't show up in the stat sheets. I don't care if he doesn't get another sack the entire year if he can continue to wreak havoc like he has so far this year. Solid game by our LBers all around.

Crosby is earning that big contract we gave him last offseason.

I'm proud of this team and how they played tonight. Solid win.

Incredible how the defense just suddenly showed up and dominated. Matt Ryan was held under 200 yards passing and threw two interceptions.

Great job by the D rounding up into shape after the first two TD drives. Evad04's friends were spot on when they said outside of no-huddle, Atlanta isn't exactly a powerhouse offense.

That was pretty ugly, error prone football for half the game. The other half was a performance by the team that won the Super Bowl.

That's exactly what I said after the game. "I think it's Mike McCarthy who deserves the game ball."

I think the announcers had it right when they said Mike McCarthy called a superb game. It was looking shaky, then BOOM, the offense seemed like the well oiled machine we've been spoiled with. I'm wrong for this, although I was hoping the Packers would pass some slants for a TD at the end of the game rather than the FG. I wanted the dagger via TD. 🙂

I loved when Bishop got the sack he did that dumb eating dance that the other gay Falcons were doing

I like how he decided to put it in 🇦🇷's hands and called 20 or so passes to 2 runs from the start of the 3rd quarter until the start of the final drive when he was running clock. Put it in the league MVP's hands and let him win it for you.

I think McCarthy got too much blame last year, and I'll be the first to say giving him the game ball is really giving him too much credit. Granted he has been coming up money lately managing the team overall, but Rodgers has a great deal of freedom in this offense and was superb again tonight; he is so vital a cog to this team. Frankly, if any coaches deserve the game ball tonight, they are Dom Capers (for his adjustments) and James Campen (seriously, the Newhouse and Sherrod who played tonight were vastly superrior to the players who were out there against second and third stringers in the pre-season).

I see what you are trying to say though, jdog2: Desmond Bishop can see into the future. For the past four weeks, he has simple been (subtly) mocking the Falcons by using their dance.

I don't think Sherrod is quite ready to play full time yet, but Newhouse is. I am not going to even worry about the big hillbilly. Heal up Chad, you're old - take your time. I wouldn't move Bulaga to LT either. Let him take his position back at RT and let Newhouse man LT. We should all give Campen some kudos, Lord knows we've ripped on the guy enough.

My lone quibble with Mike McCarthy this game was kicking the field goal instead of going for the first down or end zone after Finley's inexcusable drop on the goal line. In the end, it had no effect on the outcome of the game, and it probably was the more sensible move. I just think it would have been fun to watch him step on Atlanta's neck there, and had the play failed, they would have started with worse field position than they got from the ensuing kickoff.

I was a little nervous for awhile.

The Falcons were effective early with the misdirection plays. But after awhile they stopped doing it and the Packers D was able to stop them when Matty puddle couldn't complete passes.
