I wish I could say I was shocked, but of course I am not.

So much for the Right to Peaceful Protest.

Anyone want to bet the next part of the Bill of Rights to go? Anyone care?

So a group of people were protesting Wall Street's 100 year of looting and pilfering from main street America and the police came and beat the crap out of them? Kind of looks like footage the Civil Rights protests from the sixties, except they didn't have german shepards and fire hoses.

Maybe next time when Wall Street is protested; the protestors should be carrying weapons and pulling behind them a guillotine. Brokers are right up there in the realgm of honor with politicians, lawyers and used car salesmen.

Actually, Non - I kind of liked the next video on Obama being the anti-christ. I think the religious right wing provides some seriously needed humor to the world.

That video made me laugh too, especially the McCain political ad branding Obama "The One."

All the blather about the Antichrist gave me flashbacks to my childhood. I often wonder how I managed to turn out as sane as I did, considering I was raised in that radical fundamentalist subculture.

Speaking of which, despite branding us "blasphemers" and "perverts," among other choice appellations, and proclaiming that our lifestyle is cursing our children, my mother is at this very moment hanging out with Kat2.

It reminds me of the old Finnish proverb: Ei niin huonoa lasta ettei vanhemmalle kelpaa.

And that's true. Even if your views were the complete opposite of theirs, most parents wouldn't abandon a child for them, ever.

As for beign raised by clueless people, I'm with you man. I absolutely cringe about family gatherings. I usually drink heavily and wonder who the hell these people are.
