I am a little surprised to hear this from Fontenot as with my eyes and in my opinion I have seen the complete opposite in the first two games. I HAVE seen Starks get Rodgers hit. I have not seen Grant do that and have seen Grant get some great edge blocks on blitzes. Fontenot even admits that Starks has flat out missed assignments, and did so in week 1 as well. So I am a little confused with his comments.

There have been a few shaky plays, but on the whole he has done well. That being said, I don't know how to compare him to Grant. From the limited opportunities I haven't personally seen anything from Grant that his pass protection is weak or anything.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Who cares whether it's really true or not. Keep Starks in there!!!

I saw this earlier today and I was SO FUCKING PISSED OFF because I KNEW nerdmann would fucking post it and rub it in everyone’s faces. Then I remember that if Starks is good in pass protection it’s good for the Packers and I got over it.

(I’m still pretty pissed off though.)

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
