This weekend I got to thinking about the total yards record Driver will set this year. He and James Lofton wore # 80. Do you think the Packers will consider retiring the number based on a HOF and a Packer's HOF wearing the number?
I know they have to be careful when they consider retiring a number as there are onl so many numbers at a position.

As of now only 5 numbers have been retired.
3 Tony Canadeo
14 Don Hutson
15 Bart Starr
66 Ray Nitschke
92 Reggie White
4 will get the nod in a few years.

My guess is that they will not.

Nope. Donald Driver does not fit on that list, and neither does James Lofton. Neither of them are even very close, in my opinion.

I think if we're gonna talk about retiring a number our first number for discussion should be #73.
