Keiana and I are back "home" in Colorado now. It was a lot of fun being back home with family and friends and made me wish I never left. It was pretty hard to spend time with everyone with such a short time, but I'll hit them all up during Christmas break.
Friday, I landed around 6pm, got my fuel economy rental car, a '11 Dodge Avenger. She tried forcing me into a Mustang, I said hell no, I want CHEAP and GOOD GAS MILEAGE. They told me I'd have a Chevy Aveo or Hyndai (sp) Accent. Oh well.
Saturday, I picked up my sister, we drove down to dad, got about 20 minutes away and I asked if she brought her ID, she didn't. We drove all the way back to get it, then back down to dad. This was the first time Josephine was to see dad in her life, ever, ever, ever. We had a Brewers game at 3pm so we had to bail before actually seeing dad.
The Brewers game was 1 - 0, but the last three innings were pretty exciting. Top of the 9th the Pirates had a guy on 3rd and with two out's everyone was yelling, screaming, clapping through every pitch. It was freaking awesome, I loved it, so did she.
After the Brewers game a couple friends had a little party going on in their garage, that was fun. Although one of my friends kept telling everyone I was the perfect guy, would make the perfect husband, and she's dating one of my best friends. Talk about awkward.
Sunday, we had planned to visit dad, but some things came up so we didn't. I ended up having lunch with a friend I haven't seen in over a year. I walked the Fox River Trail an then took Lydia to see Hangover 2.
Monday, spent some time with a couple of my Aunt's and then my sister and I went and visited dad. My poor little sister is getting 19 years worth of "big brother" picking on all at once, lol. The visit with dad was really awesome. Josephine enjoyed it a lot which made me feel good. After seeing dad for a couple hours we came back to Green Bay and went to Applebee's with our Uncle Jeff.
Tuesday, I woke up and had expected lunch with a friend, but she apparently over slept or something. She says I was supposed to call her, but she works third shift and said she'd text me when to come over when she woke up. Damn women are so confusing!
I picked Keiana up around 2:30pm and when she seen me she came running into my arms. That was a little emotionally overwhelming there. Then we drove to Milwaukee, returned the rental car, waited for our plane, which was delayed by an hour, then drove from Denver to Fort Collins.
Keiana seen her room and was excited, then bummed because she realized she has to set everything up, haha.
Oh, on a side note, I took a dump in all three Walmart Super Center's in the Green Bay area too, that was monumental right there.
