i'd love to hear about some of our other WR's this camp. I haven't heard about anyone but cobb. How is everyone else doing? Is jordy in front of jones? other way around? are one or both doing better than driver? is that why this article came up?

IMO.. we didn't see much past Cobb and the first group.. mainly IMO due to questionable pass protection and Harrell looking very rusty.

I don't expect to hear much about the top four receivers, because they've all been here awhile and the pecking order is pretty well established. Last year Jones vs. Nelson for the #3 spot was kind of interesting, and Jones edged him out, but during the season they played almost the same amount anyway, so it ended up being kind of a moot point.

If there are changes among the top four receivers, they probably won't happen till the regular season gets going. For veteran players, training camp is mostly for polishing their skills rather than competing for playing time.

From what I've seen and read Gurley seems to be able to get open and be in position to make a catch but is dropping balls. I don't like to hear that but it is what it is. I really like his size. Smithson's catch against Clevland was a nice play, even though they reversed the call. He seems to be working very hard but I haven't heard specific results from camp. I don't see either one making the team, but both being PS candidates and both being strong possibilities to be picked up by some other team.
