A-Ha!! Got your interest, didn't I! I'll get to that in a second here, but first, the rest of the story.

I and my teaching buddy Roger did a bike safety workshop this past week in Helena. This was for teachers to learn the curriculum so they could teach bike safety to their classes. It's a pretty intense 2 1/2 day course, about half in the class room/gym and half on bikes.

If you want to see some pictures of good old Bob go to this site....it's a long address but don't ask me why.

The first set of pictures that comes up should be from the Helena Workshop. There are two rows of pictures and if you click on Helena Workshop which I think is in blue, in between the two rows, you should get a set of 10 or so pics. I'm the guy wearing the bright yellow and orange safety vest.

Any of you guys out there want to know some of the girls names let me know.

Anyway, to the wet T-shirt bit. On the last day we do a ride of about 5-8 miles that we zig-zag through the city getting comfortable with traffic, left and right turns, merging traffic and the whole nine yards. We stop often and change leaders. I was always at the rear. At one stop one of the group asked how come I was always at the rear. Before I could answer, smart-ass Courtney shouted out "Because they'll hit him first and then we won't get seriously injured."

Actually, with five young cute teachers in the group, the view from the rear was impressive, to say the least. In reality, the instructor goes last to evaluate and give instructions.

It's 4 in the afternoon and just above 100 degrees and everyone is complaining about the heat and wanting to get a drink or spray themselves under a hose.

Little did they know I had a surprise for them. I gave them a few streets to take headed north and just out of the city limits, 10 Mile creek cuts across the valley from west to east. We headed down this dead end road and I told the leader to just keep going on the path. Came around a bend and bam....right under a 10 foot waterfall that sprays water like a shower all over the place. It is easy to ride right under the spray and keep going and up the other side.
We did this 3 or 4 times until every one of us was soaking wet.

Dan...a PE teacher at a school here in Missoula, decided we need to vote on the best wet T-shirt look. Ashley won. She's the one with the red shorts in the pictures.

Had a great time. Water and all.

Sorry for no pics from the waterfall. Our camera guy was with another group that was less adventurous than us. His loss!
