From what little I've seen I'm gonna guess Green... he can run routes, block and catch. Starks needs to work on the blocking. Though Starks looks like he has more power so he might be the guy for short yardage (or KKKKUUUUUUUHHHHHHNNNNN!)

Now that the RB crisis has passed (as long as there are no injuries, knock on wood), Kuhn should stick to FB almost exclusively.

In Hawaii they ran a spread offense. Green is pretty versed in blocking, receiving, draws and screens. Exactly what we need from a 3rd down back.

From Packer Update:

If John Kuhn plays out the length of the three-year contract he signed on Sunday, it will pay him a total of $7.5M. According to a source with access to NFL salary information, Kuhn received a signing bonus of $750,000 and an immediate roster bonus of $1.25M, meaning he got $2M guaranteed up front. His base salaries for the three seasons are: $800,000 in 2011, $1.6 million in 2012 and $1.8 million in 2013.

If I had to choose.. I would hands down pick GB over NYC.. in a heartbeat. NYC does absolutely nothing for me..

Kuhn took less to stay

GREEN BAY – When John Kuhn said coming back to the Green Bay Packers was his goal, he wasn’t lying.

The Packers fullback and cult hero took less money to return to the Packers when he signed a three-year, $7.5 million deal over the weekend, according to the Newark Star-Ledger’s Mike Garafolo.

The New York Giants made an offer to Kuhn, Garafolo reported, citing a source informed of the progress of negotiations between the Giants and Kuhn. The person, who requested anonymity because the talks were to remain confidential, said the Giants’ offer was higher than the three-year, $7.5-million deal Kuhn took from the Packers.

Kuhn’s agent, Kevin Gold, confirmed to Garafolo the Giants made an offer but wouldn’t say whether it was more lucrative than the deal Kuhn signed with Green Bay.

“Green Bay was No. 1 to him,” Gold said of the player who inspired “Kuuuuuhn” chants at Lambeau Field last season. “It was going to take a lot more for him to leave there.”

More.. From a Giants rag...

Giants miss out on John Kuhn, possibly still looking for a fullback

The Giants weren’t in on the sweepstakes for former Texans fullback Vonta Leach, who signed with the Ravens, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t, and aren’t, looking for a free agent at the position.

The team made an offer to Packers FB John Kuhn, according to someone informed of the progress of negotiations between the Giants and Kuhn. The person, who requested anonymity because the talks were to remain confidential, said the Giants’ offer was higher than the three-year, $7.5-million deal the Green Bay fan favorite eventually signed to remain with the Packers.

Kuhn’s agent, Kevin Gold, confirmed the Giants made an offer but wouldn’t say whether it was more lucrative than the deal Kuhn signed with Green Bay.

“Green Bay was No. 1 to him,” Gold said of the player who inspired “Kuuuuuhn” chants at Lambeau Field last season. “It was going to take a lot more for him to leave there.”

Last week, the Giants released fullback Madison Hedgecock. It’s unclear at this point if they’ve shown any interest in the remaining free-agent fullbacks, including Ravens free agent LeRon McClain.

Currently, the plan is to have converted tight end Bear Pascoe, who took over for Hedgecock last season, compete with rookie free agent Henry Hynoski.

Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
