Are compensatory pick still a part of the new CBA? If so, I'd have to think we will get some for Jenkins, Jones, and Colledge if/when they sign elsewhere. I just haven't heard anything about them.

I like the way you think. Next years draft could be stack with compensatory picks. I can see jenkins and jones earning us the highest compensatory picks which is a 3rd right?

do they combine the players lost? if so then they might add them up to be a 3rd but I didn't think they added them up...

I think Cullen Jenkins and James Jones have to sign with a new team before the Packers can get any compensatory picks.

Compensatory picks are based on a net loss of free agents (with Ted Thompson we'll always be in that category). Also the pick depends on the contract signed by the free agent and their performance in the upcoming year.
