Apparently GB already has a list of guys they are cutting for salary reasons and such but haven't released the info yet.

This is from Jason Wilde on Twitter.

"An @NFL source told me earlier today the other players @Packers intend to release for salary-cap reasons. However, they've yet to be told."

Yeah, almost any reporter/journalist would have been all over it as soon they found out and not even think twice about how it will impact the players or organization.

I'm fine with Jason Wilde saying he knows, but won't tell because the players haven't been notified yet. I thought it was shady that it was leaked about Brett Favre being traded before even he was told. If those reporters had the class Jason Wilde did, perhaps Brett would have been just an ounce less bitter. Either way, it'd have made the Packers look better than what happened.

While I agree he is handling the situation with class and letting Green Bay handle the announcements, he shouldn't have said anything at all via Twitter. He is getting it from all angles (even other beat writers for the Pack) about not sharing the list.

Glad he isn't sharing it, but next time he shouldn't make it public.
