Seeing the thread on the mountain lion made me wonder......have any of you ever seen any interesting animals while out and about?
I'll start, of course.

Wisconsin is "The badger state". Have any of you ever seen any in the wild? Back in the early 1990's we saw 3 of them at once, while driving back in the woods to a camp site we stayed at many times. It was just a "wild" site, not a camp grounds. Needless to say, we decided not to stay there that night.

I've seen 2 wolverines while hunting. I shouted down a HUGE black bear while bow hunting on the ground. He was only 27 yards from me when i got him to stop coming at me. Quite an adreline rush!

When i was young, i saw 2 albino deer while vacationing in northern Wisconsin.

I've seen a couple black squirrels, a somewhat rare variation.

One thing i have yet to see that i'd really like to see is a moose in the wild.

I saw a bull, cow, and calf moose walking alongside the highway one time. Watched them trod along for about a half hour.

That's cool!
I know we have a few in Wisconsin, but have yet to see one.

I have seen a wolf, also.

Lists of Animals:

Wisconsin
Fisher (2 that I can confirm)
Badger
Wolves - More than I would like.
Bobcat
Calico deer (albeit is was only a partial.. face and neck had splashes.. not full body.

Elsewhere:
Moose - Scoped one in Saskatchewan for over an hour.. beautiful animals and just plain massive
Elk
Large pack of Wolves (wasn't coming out of the stand either, lol)

On the bucket list.

Great White shark from a cage.

Very pretty animal.

Piebalds ARE legal to shoot. Only true albinos are protected.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
