I've been busy lately, and if I remembered what I was busy with, I'd let you know. Actually the past few days we've (most of the Lolo area) have been on high alert as some dumb ass fugitive that a few years ago swore to kill all county and state officials around here and just got out of prison for attempted murder, tried to shoot several sheriffs deputies just a few miles up the road from us the other day. He escaped (what else is new) back in the mountains behind us and now everyone is armed to the teeth and shooting at any movement they see or think they see in the trees and forests. Even our neighbor, "MaGoo" is armed and dangerous. Remember my Ellie the Elk story from this winter?

Anyway, I"m still here. Gotta go load my Gatlin Gun. If I don't get the fugitive I might just get me a nice whitetail or better yet, the neighbors damn barking dogs.

The things I get to see on a regular basis:
1) guys in leather with big ass mustaches,
2) overweight women on motorcycles with big ass frowns and hairy armpits,
3) tourists,
4) more tourists,
5) yuppies who think they're cultured

Fun. (said sarcastically). Your neck of the woods sounds more interesting fo shizzle.

Reminds me of when 3 teenagers that were high eluded police and ran into the corn field behind my house when I was in grade school. Everyone was nervous and jumping at everything. Of course the rumors made the incident worse than it really was. I am sure your situation could be much worse.

Two sheriff's cars parked at the end of our road. I don't see any donuts being passed around so I'm guessing Mr. Fugitive was spotted, or thought to be spotted around somewhere.

Or.....as soon as I drive out the road they nail me for expired tags! I knew there was something I forgot to do in April.
