Sorry to hear the news, Cheesey. Was going to make a joke about not getting older sucking worse, but didn't want you to think I was being flip about your heart attack.

Hope that any damage to the heart tissue was minimal, and you'll not have any long term problems because of it.

Yoop.....I appreciate your words of encouragement. I still remember fondly getting to meet you at the Packer game! And a knee replacement? My brother in law had that. Hurt BAD! But he was REALLY happy with the results!

Dakota.....i knew life wasn't fair a LOOOONG time ago! But i try to hang in there, best as i can.

Rock.....if God wants me, I'm READY! But it's true, there must be a reason for me still to be here, or i wouldn't.

Alan, you take it easy! Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to Milwaukee this summer due spending as much free time with my dad. I would love to hit up another Twins/Brewers game with you (only this time with a Twins win!) Stay strong, have faith, and be healthy.

I just got back from my nuclear stress test.
My cardiologist thinks that maybe my meds were what caused the weird test results.
I will find out by Wednesday how it turned out.
But i didn't collapse on the stress test, so i must be OK.
I was gonna type you from the clinic where i was having it done. They have a computer there as a service to patients, and i was actually on here for a few minutes around 9am. They TOLD me they wouldn't be ready for me until 10am.......so i just got on the site, and i hear "Where is Mr. Smith???" So i had to shut down before i could do anything more then send a private message.

So as soon as i got home, i walked to the library so i could talk.

Yes, good news on the stress test.

So, what is a stress test? Do they have someone call you and say "Mr. Cheesey, this is the IRS. We're going to have to audit your 2002 taxes."

That would stress me out.

Or, do they have a kid with a non-familiar voice call you and say "Dad?" Yikes.

I'm getting stressed just thinking about that.

Just talked to my cardiologist's nurse. She said all the results came out "normal". (One of the few times anyone has said that about ME)
Anyway, what they did was called a "nuclear stress test". (No....it's NOT where they tell you they are shipping you off to the Japan reactor!)
What they did was, insert a IV into the back of my right hand, then inject radioactive material. Then you wait 30 minutes, and they put you on a scanner that takes pictures of your heart. THEN they put you on a tread mill, try to KILL YOU, then inject MORE radioactive stuff into you, wait 30 minutes (order a pizza) and then take pix to see what your heart is doing after all that crap.

So you guys(and gals) are stuck with me for awhile longer i guess.
