Dad Drops Daughter To Catch Foul Ball

Some people are made famous through foul balls. Sometimes foul balls find their way to famous people. Whatever the case may be, fans have to act quickly -- and sometimes with questionable levels of intelligence -- when it comes to foul balls.

In the ninth inning of Saturday's game between the Los Angeles dodgers and Florida Marlins, a father holding his daughter noticed a foul ball coming his way. He reacted as fast as he could, dropped his daughter and tried to catch it.

Unfortunately, the father ended up dropping the ball as well.

I liked when the daughter gave dad an elbow in the chest for dropping her.

Glad the kid was of an age where she was sturdy enough to not get really hurt from that.

Jesus once said, The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me (Matthew 26:11). Probably something similar was running through this guy's head. "The daughter we will always have with us, but a foul ball . . ."

Would have been HILARIOUS if the ball would have bounced off his hands and into his daughter's lap.
