It seems that when I predicted a tightly fought 23-21 win for the pack, I did two things. I underestimated the Packers and Over estimated the Bears.

It was great to see a win over the bears , first in 2+ years.

Was Hawk awesome? I thought so. Oline finally came to work and the Packers seem to be back to their playoff form.

I might also add that Bucs are my 2nd favorite team.

Obviously I am thinking 11-5.. How about everyone else?

Grant - 145 yards rushing
Chicago Bears season average before today - 74.9 yards. that's gotta count for something. admit it. we dominated a very good defense.

why do you think the bears run defense is so high in the rankings ? they don't get pressure on the QB and its easy to pass on them , just look at the crappy QB's who put up good numbers

i'm not trying to take away from the win ...........congrats on that it was a good win , but don't get carried away thats all i'm saying

+1 Bozz.. exactly the post I was starting until I seen this.. nevermind we actually ran against a team that others couldn't... ball control and not fearing calling run plays from the playcalling..

I must say this.. the line looks better, but a few times they still got caught high.. see the Grant run to the right near the goalline.. Cliffy and Colledge both got pushed back.. couple that with a couple early penalties.. I give the line an A- for the day.. but heck I will take it.

We forced the Bears back into there cover two schemes.. something Troy and Joy Buck mentioned a couple of times.. that forced them to drop the backers and opened up the running game..

Paper Bears defense..

But to topic today, 10 and 6... we will stub our toe someplace yet.. watching the Jags today.. that very well might be the stub.

Much better.. the interior defensive line looked a little soft yet.. Jolly hasn't returned to pre injury form from last year and Pickett has fallen off.. arm injury can't help. Cole.. give him credit.. he gives the effort but those short arms hurt him.. can't keep seperation in shedding blocks.. the olineman stick on the kid.

I seen Harrell in the game.. good sign... keeping digging.

A much needed win today.. got things done and set the ground work for further improvement next week.
