I didn't get picked for "America's Got Talent". Darn. I was SO hoping to at least get a shot on television.
Oh well.......i gave it my best. Can't do any more then that.

Can't say I've heard of the show, let alone seen it. I have heard of an seen American Idol a few times. Only watched it because there was a Milwaukee guy on it. I watched it through his elimination.

You don't need TV to confirm you have talent, you and us already know.

Thanks Kevin......i know i'm a decent singer. It's just, well, i wanted the chance to be able to hopefully get noticed by some record exec if i made it onto the TV round. Then maybe i could be a "somebody" and be able to buy my wife a home.
Now that "dream" is gone, it's hard.
I wish i could have had something like this to try 30 years ago. Maybe i would have had a chance. I think the cut off age is 28 for American Idol, so i'm WAY past that chance.

What Zero said. You don't need TV to tell you that you have talent. I saw a HS play a few months back and the lead in the play had more talent than a lot of actresses that are making a living.

Most of it is luck and being in the right place at the right time, not lack of talent. Let's be real. Paris Hilton released songs and I don't think anyone here will say with a straight face she's got more talent than you do.
