"UhOh!" LOLOL!!!
You know......even before i read Vikesrule's "Bart Starr" post, i was actually thinking the same thing. Starr was not a great QB numbers wise. He had, what, 156 career TD's? (I could be wrong on the number, going by memory).
But he did enough to win, and didn't throw games away. He was a good game manager.
So you can't say Terry Bradshaw wasn't a good leader. Could someone else have done as good with the Steeler's defense back then? Maybe so, maybe not. But Bradshaw DID do it, so you can't knock the guy too much.
Football is a team sport. You need all the parts to work in order to win multiple championships. Just about anyone can win ONE. (Unless your a member of the Vikings.....LOL!)
Trent Dilfer has a SB ring, Doug Williams, and so on. If you can secure more then one in today's NFL, with free agency and all, it's quite an accomplishment in my view. Guess we will see with AR......if we have a football season this year, that is.
