I don't think that he's not wanted at all. I'm sure the Packers would love to have him, but it's just not in the books. Has to be a hard decision though.

There's no loyalty either way, this is what The NFL has become.

I can't hold a grudge against any player who knows they can go somewhere else and make more money, on the other side every organization has a budget it has to stick to.

There's no reason to become personally attached to any player these days, because sooner or later they will be gone. You just have to root for the team and hope they keep winning.

"These days"? This league has had free agency for almost 20 years. Player mobility is hardly a groundbreaking phenomenon. The reason why players didn't move from team to team before free agency is because they couldn't: teams had the power to keep them around almost indefinitely. Anyone who thinks players in previous decades would have gladly hung around teams their entire career despite having the advantages of free agency is kidding himself.

Dammit. Now giving it some thought, I'm starting to believe that Jenkins is the best player on our DL. Yes, that includes Raji.

We'll need someone else to step up and generate pressure from the DL. If so, we won't need Jenkins. If not, we're really going to miss him.

Like I've said before though, I think the administration's main criticism of Jenkins is his availability. He's only finished one of the past 3 years.
