I don't understand what they are complaining about. It is as though they want to be bored for three or three-and-a-half quarters and then thrilled in the end with an amazing play. I would rather have excitement throughout the game. This game had that in spades. It was an incredible emotional rollercoaster. The first quarter was unbelievably thrilling, the second quarter was taut, the third quarter was agonizing, the fourth quarter was nail biting, and the end was explosive. I don't see how anyone could call it boring.

I agree it was a helluva roller coaster. I entered watching the game confident as all get up, then in the 2nd with the injures started coming back to earth, 3rd I was counting it damn near as a loss and that last commercial break to start the 4th, I started getting more confident ... then Clay caused a fumble, lol.

Looking at it objectively, I think it was one of the better Super Bowls. Not top-tier because there were no lead changes, and it didn't go down to the final seconds. Also, some might think that the injuries took something away from it, though I would counter that without Woodson, Shields, and Driver getting hurt the Packers probably would've won by at least two or three touchdowns.

It was a close game between the two best teams in the league, and there were a lot of big plays. You can't do much better than that.

I have been reading complaints online by people saying this was largely an unmemorable Super Bowl because there was no such miraculous comeback. Apparently only Super Bowls in which unknown receivers make improbable catches are considered great.

Not to sound cocky or nosterdamaus or anything, but I had a feeling the Packers were going to the Super Bowl since training camp. Yes, EVERYONE gets that feeling, but the Packers winning just made sense in light of the CBA fiasco. The Packers were the last team any owner wanted to win the Super Bowl, and maybe with all the injuries to high-paid players, perhaps the last team the Players Union wanted to win the Super Bowl as well.

I was kind of naive to think that the Packers winning would "save" the NFL from a lockout...because the talks seem to be going nowhere as of this moment.

Also, I knew that our team was STACKED. I was expecting us to be "scary good", but we weren't really that scary considering the injuries and close losses/wins.

I knew we would make the playoffs after the Falcons loss. But I think it was set in stone we'd make the Super Bowl when we started knocking off our demons. Vikings-Giants-Eagles-Falcons-Bears.

Dude, feel free to feel cocky. I take pride in my predictions. Check my signature. And yes, I was thinking after the playoff loss that NOBODY is going to stop our O. Our only problem was a few kinks in our D. That got resolved in '10.
