I was on a boring ass conference call an decided to see what my Evo 4G could do.

I found a SNES Emulator for $3.99. I figured, it won't work, but hey its four bucks oh well.

Then I needed to find a ROM to play, so landed this site.

The neat thing about this site, it has a barcode which you can scan with your Droid app Barcode Scanner and install the app that finds the roms for you.

I was playing Zelda, a link to the past. Freaking awesome. Giddy like a 10 year old at Christmas.

Doubt my Desire can run it, but your Evo might.

I might give the SNES a shot, though. I played a lot of Mario on that thing back in the day.... Which is like yesterday for most of you old people.

You have a prepaid phone, Detlev. Wouldn't it be really expensive to download things onto it?

I did, but I got a new phone.

Used to have a Samsung Star Qwerty, but got my HTC Desire last monday.

If your HTC Desire is Android, you can. There is a 'lite' version of the emulator as well. A buddy of mine just downloaded that and is playing Killer Instinct.

I just tried playing Mortal Kombat, ... Cage kicked my ass lol

Software-wise, it should. And I have no doubt that it can run the SNES emulator. It's just that I don't know if the hardware is up to the standards it needs to run PSX games. I think the HTC Wildfire isn't and the HTC Desire HD is. So it should be somewhere in between.

I might give it a shot later on... If I actually want to part ways with my 3,99.

Of course some of us have no clue what a SNES is.
