It's been said a million times now on this site by a lot other people than me - we dropped 2 (arguably 3) TDs. We didn't have to rush once if we had caught those passes.
I said a 2 to 1 ratio is about right before the game as I was well aware that NOBODY runs against the Steelers. Mike McCarthy went with 3 to 1.
One thing I don't think I'm getting through - I am not anti-run. I am anti-balance. Big difference.
You do what they can't stop. Repeatedly. There will be plenty of games next year (if we have a season) where Grant + Starks will get 40+ carries because the other guys can't stop the run. Likewise, if they can't stop the pass, throw it 40+ times. Is this a failure of communication on my end? I don't see what I'm doing wrong here.
