I hope driver doesn't retire. If nothing else he can be a leader/ 3rd down receiver.

What do you you guys think of Swain in the future?

I like Jones but I don't think we can rely on him when it counts...

Woodson, Clifton, Driver?

All three have played, sacrificed and gave everything they have had to hoist that Lombardi.

I would list it as such.

1. Driver - Goes out on top, see how one of his friends stayed a bit too long, and has nothing to prove to anyone.

2. Clifton - Dude has knees that have got to agonize him weekly.

3. Woodson - Guy lives for this game, it flows deep inside him. I can't see him walking away yet.

Driver has a year left and will drop to our #4. Woody's got 2 years left, maybe even 3. He'll go to Safety for his last year or 2. Cliffy may be done, but gotta give him credit - he played a hell of a year.

As is expected, none will retire. Someone may not make the team but they played through all the hard times. they will want to savor the satisfaction of being the defending SB team all year. (And then repeat of course.)

Clifton will want to earn his Pro Bowl nomination
Driver has a motor that will not quit. Quietly he will shoot for the yardage record. Even if he drops out of the #2 slot, he will be a huge 3rd down, maintain possession receiver next year.
Woodson is an on field coach. He may slid more into the nickle position but he will also be the rover on the team doing it all. Blitzing the QB, playing run defense, dropping into coverage. He can do it all and they will use him that way.

I can still see Driver getting 30+ catches and 400+ yards and a pair of TDs next year as our #4 WR. He's got heart, something nobody can take from him. He's got a year left. If he does retire after this year, he's already in the Packers Hall of Fame.

Plus, he runs some sick routes and has great chemistry with Aaron.

Has Rourke been here to point out the improper use of "whom" yet?

I think if any retire, it will be Clifton, but he would have to have some kind of setback health-wise over the offseason. Maybe his knees just get too bad during workouts or something.

I think they'll be back.
