I've longed argued that Rodgers being labeled injury prone is inaccurate. Primarily due to he's never missed a start due to injury. Secondly because he played an entire half with a broken bone in his foot against a team that knocked out the NFL's ironman. It was a broken bone, not much can be done about that. Thirdly, people bring up that he was hurt during the Cowboys game, thats not true. He tweaked his hamstring during the final play of the final practice AFTER the Cowboys game and he and the coaches said if he was the starter, he'd have played the following week. Instead of risking their future QB, they brought in Craig Nall so Rodgers could rest it and heal for the future.

Which brings me to this post. Anyone who wants to question Rodgers toughness has not watched any Packers game this year. If this loss has shown me anything, its shown me that Rodgers is one tough son of a bitch. I don't recall another time where I seen a QB get smacked around so many times and harassed so consistently and still get up like nothing happened.

It's only a little more than half a season, but I for one believe Rodgers is showing he's one tough bastard. The true test will be if he can continue this for ten years.

I'm just saying, those who say he's glass Rodgers, need to shut the truck up.

Amen Zero! It just shows the sheep mentality that most people fall prey to, if it's repeated enough it becomes the truth!

So true the other thing I like yes he has taken sacks,in this game but zero interceptions, that part I think he is doing well with they don't give him a chance really to throw it away.I hope he gets healthy come sunday

He took a pounding yesterday. I was impressed.

His mental toughness could be improved a bit though. You could see his game fall apart after he got happy feet from getting hit so much, hurrying passes, not running the offense at its usual tempo.

I love Rodgers but no man can live for 10 seasons with the protection he got from yesterday's line.

Nah but his a hell of a fighter and tough guy !!! If this we're alex smith he'd be dead 🙂

I think there's a certain distinction that needs to be made.

Rodgers certainly had his fair share of injuries in his short career, so it'd be wrong to say he doesn't get injured often. However, what is more important is how Rodgers is able to play through the pain and not let it affect his game too much. In the end, this is what matters, the consistent form regardless of any injuries sustained. It's nice to never get injured but that is more to do with chance and physiology, which is hard to control. What Rodgers can control is his tolerance to pain and his playing form - and he's shown to be quite good in this regard.

Good damn thing he has composure.. if I was him.. Sunday I would have grabbed a hold of a few of the olines face masks and been barking in their collective ears.. give me a little freaking time.

It shows that Rodgers has had good coaching. He knows not to bark at the linemen during the game.

However, when he and the linemen go out to dinner, or he holds a grillout party at his house for the linemen, in more private surroundings, I am positive he lets 'em have it...

Cetainly, there is no question the oline may have played its worst game of the year.

The Vikings game SHOULD have been a gimme.
