I was at work today,(I manage a Liquor store between the Airport and the Las Vegas Strip.),When a couple arrives in a limo from the airport.The Gentleman is wearing a Packer Hat.We get into the usual where you from in Wisconsin,Packs looks good this year,yada yada.I help them with the questions they have and make some suggestions on what they should purchase.About this time the owner shows up with some product that I need to help him unload.As Im standing out side with the owner,the Gentleman with the Pack hat is by his limo putting away their purchases ,and waves me over.He asks me am I really a huge Packer Fan?I tell him YOU BET I AM!!!! He say's he has someone he wants me to meet.
He opens the door to the Limo and who should be sitting in it. WILLIE DAVIS!!!!!!!!!! Former DE from 1960-1969.We chatted for a minute and they took off for the Hotel.He seemed extra happy that the Vikings bit the dust Thursday nite.
Stuff like this never happens to me.I'm taking it as a sign from the football gods that the Pack is going to have a Great season.

That's a REALLY neat story!
I have seen Willie a few times at Fan Fest. I haven't got his autograph yet though.

I didn't even think about an autograph,I was just happy to meet the man and shake his hand.It's been a great couple of weeks here in Vegas. 30,000 Badger Fans last weekend,(I had a young couple from Grafton stop by on the way from the airport Cheesey.),and meeting Willie Davis this weekend.

I just had to revisit this thread after the N.F.C.C. game.I think when I said "a great season" I might have underestimated it a tad?
