Currently I have a 37" LCD, but looking to hit up to 42" or above and sell my 37" and thought I'd share this little gem with you all.

Helluva a deal. If I get my taxes in time, I'm thinking of getting it.

What would you want for the old one?

Dynamic Contrast Ratio on that thing isn't great. For reference, that one is 13,000:1. My TV is 70,000:1. Granted, it's higher-end but the general picture quality is going to not be as great.

I'm gonna try for $350 on craigslist. I'm not wanting to sell it, because its still in perfect condition, have original box, manual, remote is perfect, etc ... but I just don't have anywhere to use it. :(

Edit, it's 1080i, not 1080p, speaking of the one I currently have.

My 55" rear projection Sony had a malfunction after 3 years, so I went on the Sony consumer bitch line and got a new 60" LCD for $350 plus free delivery. I thought that was pretty sweet. I added a Bose speaker system for $450 and am ready for the Packers to raise the George Halas trophy in Chicago this weekend.

lol Wade. You got me beat. I have an 2003 Sony 40" 720p HD tube. Flat screen, but a tube. Suckers weighs about 400 pounds. There isn't a entertainment center that can hold the bastard, so I'm using our oak coffee table that my roomies and I had back in college. That thing is a stud.

As far as the OP goes.. That's a hell of a deal, despite the contrast ratio. If I wasn't so damn busted, that would be alllll mine.

I put in the long hours, so I spoil myself with a few things, and a TV and sounds system is one of those things. Not going to say I'm sorry! You want to come up and work, you have time in the summer? šŸ™‚

Zero2Cool (27-Jul) : There's a toggle for light/dark theme. Super easy.
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The white background beta was hard to read, especially the quotes
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Hopefully the color scheme remains the same
dfosterf (27-Jul) : *Friday*
dfosterf (27-Jul) : 100 million would be 539 million as of Fridsy

dfosterf (27-Jul) : Beer brat and ticket is where the money comes from
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The 40th is Titletown Tech itself. This is a pet project of both Ed Policy and Mark Murphy

dfosterf (27-Jul) : No profit that I know of. 0 for 40

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Maybe a low flying drone
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Did Savion Williams run into a goalpost or something?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
