I kind of laugh when I see others mention that Aaron holds the ball too long. Only because I said that very early on and no one believed me! Buttheads! :)

I didn't say it before but I will say it now. Rodgers holds the ball too long.
I knew we would have some ups and downs this season with a new QB
but today was for sure a big down.

He didn't hold it any longer then Free-Rot did.........
But if no one gets open, what can you do? Try to force it in and get a bunch of INTS?
I DO wish they would have had some planned roll outs for AR. Maybe that would have bought him some time for SOMEONE to get open.

Childress will never out coach McCarthy. It was sad that he could not beat us after we threw 3 picks.

Rodgers had a terrible game BECAUSE HE WAS ON HIS BACK ALL GAME.
(Sorry for yelling)
If Rodgers had TIME, and was missing passes, THEN I would blame him. But that wasn't what happened.
Hell......."Free-Rot" had all DAY to throw, and TRIED to hand us the game. Had Rodgers had the time FREE-ROT had and screwed it up, I'd blame him.
But NO QB can make throws when he littera;;y has no time for the play to even develope.
Thats the damn O-line. It was nothing but "look out" blocks.
At the snap the o-line yells "AAron, LOOK OUT!!!!"

"Cheesey" wrote:

"It was a combination of we didn't do the fundamentals the way we know how to and me probably holding the ball a little too long," Rodgers said. "They did a great job. You've got to give them credit."

I think it is pretty clear that he holds on to the ball too long. He needs to sense pressure better. Cheesey, can you honestly say that the second safety wasn't his fault in part at least? Your in the end zone, you can't just expect to have all the time in the world. If there is pressure you need to get out of the pocket, etc.

Plus I saw lots of plays where he had time and just didn't perform. For example the almost pick at the end of hte half, he had time. Or that pass where he just plain threw it behind Jennings I think it was and had all the time in the world. Or the play where he threw it straight at Vikings players head and it bounced off his head and went into Drivers hands. Yeah the O-line sucks but personally I think he sucked too.

And I feel we were not outcoached (impossible against the Vikes) but some odd playcalling and decisions. I really don't understand the last drive. Why did it seem like we were content kicking a 50+ FG. It was like we had the ball at the 5 yard line and waiting to kick a FG to win it.
