WHO DAT say they gonna beat them... seahawks? Hopefully they can knock out the bears now

As I've been saying all week to anyone who'll listen, playing the Seahawks at their place is NOT good. That place makes a difference, it was designed to be loud and it was successful.

I don't know if we match up better against the Bears or Seahawks. I think Cutler will buckle in a NFC Championship game and I think Qwest field would be a real bitch to play in. If we can silence the crowd, sure, then yes, but we seem to start off slow.

I'd much rather play that seahawks defense then the bears d, but that stadium is tough to play in. Nice call by the way.

How many picked the Seahawks to win against the Saints?

I am absolutely stunned that Seattle won. The Jets and Colts game I couldn't really decide but I was leaning towards the Colts. But my God the Seahawks. I know they were at home and I know that Qwest is a tough place to play but they were only 5-3 at home with four of those wins coming against Arizona, Carolina, San Francisco and St. Louis. Their best home win was against San Diego earlier in the year when the Chargers were one of the most incompetent teams in the league. The got spanked by Atlanta, Kansas City, and New York.

I am stunned. I guess the moral of the story is it is okay for fans to not take a team seriously. It is NOT okay for their opponents to do so.

Qwest is tough, add in they were not expecting to be rooting for a home playoff game, then suddenly one fell in their lap. They were hyped up. Had nothing to lose. Saints, defending world champions could lose to a 7 win playoff team, lots to lose. Saints, lots of pressure. Seahawks, no pressure and home field.

I was more surprised the Jets pulled it off than the Seahawks lol.

I knew the Jets would win. I didn't expect it to be that close, honestly. I thought Manning would throw a pick 6 and the Jets would win by 10 points or so. Didn't know the Jets' QB would blow pretty much every chance he got except for the last drive. I knew he was mediocre but didn't think he was that bad.

As for the Saints, I was thinking they'd win by 30+ points especially after they took that 17-6 lead.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
