Surprise, surprise, I chose Hawk, IMHO Ted should pay AJ the money he is due.
Reality is that Ted probably will not, and AJ will be released and sign with another club.

I have defended AJ for the past couple of years, his play this year needs no defense, he has become the QB of the defense and a quiet leader.

I would be very upset if Hawk is not a Packer for many years to come. He's the most consistent LB we have. I like him better than Barnett but I want to keep all 4 ILBers and I do believe Ted will find a way to get it done.

Hawk goes from a 2 down linebacker to a 3 down linebacker and our defense is sick. I will vote Hawk with restructure because it is the only option that has us keeping Hawk.

It is assumed that Ted will not spend the money necessary to keep both, or parties would not necessarily take pay cuts for reduced roles. Hawk and Bishop are 3 down linebackers. Bishop just got the money, he is a starter for the future. Barnett is the third wheel in the equation.

Barnett's older, injury prone. Hawk and Bishop make a good combo. Hawk's had a TERRIFIC year. With Chillar back (healthy), it's a good trio of ILBs. $10M is too much, though, would like to see a renegotiated, long-term contract, so that we can reduce the 2011 cost and AJ can get money up front--a win-win.

Hawk has shown this year that he can be a 3 down linebacker and playing next to Bishop has risen his game.

I have been calling for Barnett to be gone for awhile...I think last season. He jumps on piles late, he is slower and he gets beat up/lost in the 3-4 scheme.

Barnett is older and is now even more injury prone (2 surgeries in 2 seasons). I'd say ship him to a team for a 2nd or 3rd rounder, keep Hawk and restructure his contract (if need be).
