Sam Shields is not that integral. While he has been a mild surprise, he's still a liability in coverage. I'm sure Underwood or Lee could fill in without a huge drop off.

He's done the best job at nickel we've seen in the past few years (excluding Tramon's short time there).

He's got enough speed to match up with Hester or Knox one on one, and If he's healthy I don't doubt they stick him on one of those guys considering they like to shift C-Wood into the slot on nickel downs quite a bit.
