Packers coming to North Carolina! Buying tickets ASAP!

Dang, My "for pessimists" post had Kansas City as scheduled but now we learn that there are special rules for the AFC West.

I was sure hoping to see the Packers at Oakloand like it was supposed to be.

Now they will have had the Raiders at home 2 consecutive times and now at Arrowhead 2 consecutive times. So in 4 and 8 years the Chiefs will have to go to Lambeau and the Packers will go to the Raiders in 4 and 8 years.

Must be some East Coast whiners complaining about having to play 2 away games in California in one season that caused this change.

NFL players are tough and can handle sitting in a chair!! From Green Bay San Diego and Oakland are almost identical miles and a under a 4 hour flight one way.

I am also upset because the Chiefs are much better at home. This season they are 7-0 at home and 3-5 on the road.

Plus the Packer game at Oakland is likely to be blacked out for me. The Raiders have had only one home game not blacked out this season. There is just something special about going to Oakland Coliseum wearing your Packers gear. Hint: Always take the train to game and not your car.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you saying certain games should have been in certain cities, but that special considerations were made, and venues switched?

Yes that is what I am saying.

If you remember 2007 the Raiders and Chargers played at Lambeau Field and the Packers played at Arrowhead and Mile High.

2003 was in Oakland right after Brett's father's death.

This time around it should reversed but the Packers have to play at Arrowhead instead of at the Raiders because the rules for AFC West scheduling is changed so no team plays in California twice in a seaon due to the "hardship".

The Raiders get 2 in a row at Lambeau and the Packers get 2 in a row at Arrowhead.

As I pointed out earlier the Chiefs are 7-0 at Arrowhead this season and 3-5 on the road. Plus I miss a chance to see the Packers at the Raiders.

This recent rule puts the Packers at a disadvantage.
