My point is that the Packers have demonstrated the ability to play with any team in the league anywhere.

And my point is, they lost so being able to 'play' doesn't mean shit. You need to WIN.

We do not have a good road record this year. 3 - 5 on the road I believe.

Looking like it could be the Eagles now, provided the Packers win this Sunday and make the playoffs.

Yeah, but we lost with Rodgers standing on the sidelines. I'm thinking he's worth at LEAST 4 pts.

Hey, none of our guys will be going to the Pro Bowl anyway. The Pro Bowl is 30 Jan, and the Super Bowl isn't until 6 Feb.

Yeah, it can be done. The Steelers did it in the AFC. Home field in the playoffs is not as big of an advantage as it used to be. What I don't like is that if the Packers make it they will have to beat the Bears twice in a row. It's hard to beat a team twice in a row. The loser of the first game usually plays with more fire in the second game.

"Zero2Cool" wrote:

Bears or Eagles.

Edit, looks like we'll be playing the Eagles.

"Greg C." wrote:

Yep, it's the Eagles. I didn't see that one coming at all. And the Eagles look vulnerable.

This Eagles loss is good for the Packers, because unless the Falcons lose to the Panthers AND the Saints lose to Tampa Bay in the 1:00 games, the Bears will be playing for nothing on Sunday.

If I were the Bears, I'd probably play the first half with starters, then rest them the second half.

The only way the Bears and Packers would meet again is in the NFC Championship round unless Saints/Rams or Seahawks beat them.

I think one of the hardest things is, if you are a 6th seed, ALL of your playoff games are gonna be on the road. So you have to win 3 away games just to get to the super bowl.
The home crowd can make a huge difference.

But this Packer team is pretty darn good. If anyone has the power to do it, it's these guys.
