Why can't he watch film or attend meetings? Does he have to be kept in a dark room with a towel over his eyes like a woman with a migraine?

Agreed. This makes me believe that he won't be playing. Or maybe it's part of MM's master plan to trick the Pats.

No way he plays. Sounds like this concussion is more serious. I understand that they're all serious, but Rodgers looked different when he went down. I think he hit his hard hard on the turf. His first concussion was caused by helmet-to-helmet contact and it wasn't exactly slamming heads either. The players' helmets barely touched. Head on the turf looks more severe. But I'm not doctor or an expert on these things. Just an observer.

I'm starting to wonder if someone is posting for you. ;)

It was a knee to the helmet that caused his concussion.

Against Washington, I believe there was a slight helmet-to-helmet on his INT. That resulted in the first one.

Every replay I saw had his head hitting the turf against Detroit. That contact with the turf is what gave him the concussion. Maybe the Packers would say otherwise. Not sure if they did, but I don't believe them if that is the case. When a player hits their head the way he did, that is usually a bad sign. Those tend to be the bad ones. Again, not suggesting one is more severe than the other, but there is a reason why he was cleared early against Miami and probably won't be against New England. Most of the time they sit out and I have a hard time seeing this go any other way.

According to the FOX broadcast, Rodgers suffered the concussion when his head hit the turf when Lions linebacker Landon Johnson tackled him at the end of an 18-yard run.

Head to the turf. I'd be shocked if he plays.

Damn I suck at spelling things out clearly. You said his first concussion was from a helmet to helmet hit. You did mention the other as well and that's where I failed to specify the hit I was referring to.

The Redskin hit him, an as he was going down hit his helmet into Rodgers and as Rodgers was going down the defenders knee struck Rodgers in the face jerking his face back and then his head hit the grass as the defenders helmet connected with his helmet once again.

TO BE CLEAR ... I have no clue where the concussion occurred. Some reporter, Wilde I think, asked if he thought it was the knee or helmet blow and he said knee. Who the hell wants to believe that though, he was freaking concussed!

My guess is it was the combination of getting hit in the helmet one direction with a sudden slam from the knee into the other direction that caused the concussion. Not one or the other. I don't know, I'm not a doctor, just an observer. I did however play doctor once with this neighbor girl.

The earliest Rodgers will be able to practice is Saturday.
I'm betting he is out, and if he's not he should be.

We all better hope the Vikes beat the Bears. It sucks that they have to play outside the dome and Favre is iffy. Of coures the Bears have been catching teams at the right time all year so why should this week be any different?

I don't like rooting for the Vikes but they are my best friends this week.

The Bears defense.. most notably southern boy Peppers didn't do to damn much in the box in the cold weather last week.

We can hope for a repeat with AP tearing them a new one.

I hope your right. Bears catch another break making this basically a game on a neutral field. The fact the Vikes can run it a little better and their D stops the run it may work out.

I hate that it boils down to this but it is what it is.
