Personally, I thought Grant played well today.

In fact, while watching the game, on more than one occasion, I said, "Man, Grant is playing much better"

Over 4 yards a carry is pretty decent against nearly any run defense. Against the Titans, it's very good.

Grant was not the reason for our loss. Sure, you could make the argument that if he had a spectacular game, we would have won. But you could make that argument about every player on the field.

If Rodgers played better, we would have won. If Woodson picked off a pass and returned it for a TD, we would have won. If Jennings only broke a few tackles and ran for a TD, we would have won. Etc. Etc.

Not one comment here about the fact Clifton was a late scratch and that meant two moves at the last minute for the O line?

Geez, this is a tough crowd. It's one thing when a guy is injured and you have the week to work the starters, especially when your playing one of the top defensive units in the game.

For what it was worth, and I know they rotate and work these guys in during the week, but as far as the O line goes the two weeks off and the extra prep time went out the window when Clifton couldn't start.

We threw a rookie in there and Colledge did a decent job but he's not Clifton and anyone thinking this didn't have some affect is kidding themselves. Especially when you consider the amount of stunts those guys run.

I thought we got as much out of them and the running game as we could expect. Do you know how many +10 yard gains the Titans have allowed all year going into this game? TWELVE.

Grant had three. I think expectations around here run a little beyond high.

He ran well today but he couldn't catch a cold in antartica

I agree. I was stunned when to find that he's only caught four passes all year...

i liked what grant did in the game you could tell he was a little frustrated when he was tackled at the 50 but i thought jackson was good too i think we were one of the better teams that the titans faced and when the front can give a-rod more time and he had some of that yesterday think they did okay

You're right, he's better (at least in the run game).

Considering my lowered expectations after the beginning of this season and the fact that we were playing arguably the best defense in the league, I was actually pretty satisfied with Grant's performance.

It looks like Grant's slowly but surely getting back into his groove. We'll see next week against another good run defense team in Minnesota how well he can play.
