This was mentioned on another forum, and wanted to get a poll done to see how people view his performance so far.

Now please I rather not have debates on Brett is better or Rodger si 43-4 or paid to much ect...ect...ect..

So please just try to be UNBIASED and i truly just want answers and not excuses, or fights over it all

These are his stats AS OF RIGHT NOW

yards he is 7th

rating is 6th

td 7th ( if you add rushing he is 2nd )

tied 4 about 4th in int

12th in %

6th with 20+ yard passes

2nd in 40+ yards passes although those 2 stats can be skewed if the receiver is doing 90% of the yac

yards per pass he is 10th

I'm saying slightly above average. To me way above average is the best in the league. He is not that. But like him or not (and i love this guy) he has givin the packers oppturnities to win ball games. And he has preformed well. He has definitily preformed above average. And all with a bummed shoulder. I am impressed. Very much.

I put slightly above average.

Rodgers is too young, he's shown his inexperience at times, like holding on to the ball a tad too long.

Rodgers has also yet to win a game on his own, which I feel the "way above average" QBs can do. Rodgers has potential, and he should only get better as he gets experiences.

What "average"?

Can't vote in poll until this point is clarified.

Maybe if you just clarified your answer and your basis for that response it wouldn't really matter. As for me, I picked slightly above because, as much as I wanted to put him at way-up-there, it's too soon (obviously not for Ted Thompson though to sign that extension).

He is too inexperienced to be more than slightly above avg. Which is my vote.

slightly above average to me but closer to way above then to just average. I thought there would be a lot more growing pains but this is where some years on the bench pay off

Well see that's an entirely different question, and it ABSOLUTELY requires clarification if you are to have a meaningful poll.

I'd say he's performed well above statistical average (since there's been about 40-50 QBs to play a game this season) but he's performed slightly above my expectations, which were pretty high of him to begin with.

I think the best way I can sum up Rodgers' performance thus far is that I constantly forget that he's a first year starter and has only played 8 games. I have to remind myself that he's still young and has got a blindingly bright future ahead of him if he can keep it up.

Zero2Cool (20-Nov) : Even with the context it's ... what?
Mucky Tundra (20-Nov) : Matt LaFleur without context: “I don’t wanna pat you on the butt and you poop in my hand.”
beast (20-Nov) : We brought in a former Packers OL coach to help evaluate OL as a scout

Zero2Cool (20-Nov) : He landed good players thanks to high draft slot. He isn't good.
Zero2Cool (20-Nov) : He can shove his knowledge up his ass. He knows nothing.

Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : What? Why? Huh?
beast (19-Nov) : I wonder if the Packers might to try to bring Douglas in through Milt Hendrickson/Ravens connections
Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : The Jets fired Joe Douglas, per sources
packerfanoutwest (19-Nov) : Jets are a mess......
Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : Pretty sure Jets fired their scouting staff and just pluck former Packers.
Zero2Cool (19-Nov) : Jets sign Anders Carlson to their 53.

buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : I tend to let Gute and Co. Worry about the future.

buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Jaire and Evans Williams are both ACTIVE! Good news.
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : The badgers really need to change the whole offensive scheme. No draws no screens plus the quarterback is marginal
Cheesey (17-Nov) : If the Badgers had a decent QB, they would have won. The guy can't hit a wide open receiver
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
