What is it with our receivers this year anyway? Game after game they seem utterly lacking in passion or even interest in the game. There have been only a few games this year where they've shown any effort in laying out for difficult passes. Most of the time they seem to be content watching them fly overhead. Maybe our wide receiver's coach should be on the chopping block too. His boys don't seem very eager to be on the field.

I hated watching Greg lollygag around after his INT while the safety was jetting down the field thanks to Greg's fuck up.

There does seem to be this apathy amongst the WRs and I don't get it. Driver IMO is even worse at drops than Jones, yet he can make the one-handed, upside down, behind the back blindfolded catch.

I've joked about it in pvs. threads, but it seems that you need to make it difficult on the WRs or they won't catch it.

Watching Greg just casually walk away after looking behind him (how did he not see the DB with the ball?) and continue walking bothered me. I thought c'mon you tipped the ball up in the air, that's a secondary's wet dream!

That was the first thing I noticed on the INT...Greg just kept on jogging. Apparently he didn't realize it was intercepted.

Yes. That would explain it. The way I remember it, it was not tipped up into the air, it was tipped pretty much sideways, and it just happened to go right into the defender's hands. It's been awhile since Jennings has dropped one of those, so I don't want to rip on him too much. Still, it was very, very costly.

I saw that too.

Jennings look non-chalant in slow motion after that INT.

But in real-time, it takes time to realize that its been intercepted, stop your forward sprint, and chase the ball.

Either way, GJ is back to under performing like in the beginning of the year.

I'll give you that, but he tipped the ball UP ... you have to make sure the ball was NOT caught before being nonchalant. Right? Just irks me when players give up. Ya gotta play for the full 60 minutes. I could never be a coach, I'd have a damn ulcer. I'd have been chewing Greg's ass off.

After this loss I think everyone here wants our coaching staff to be gone well I got news for you guys firing them won't do shit.At least for the remainder of the year.Look ill say it time and time again why do the coaches always and I mean ALWAYS get blamed. It's the players playing the game all our coaches are capable of coaching a good team.Cut the god damn packers some slack, they are still in playoff contention when half our starters are out we are limited to work with here. And yes im using injures as an excuse for this one.We played a horrible game it fucking happens even if its the lions i seen half of you say its gonna be a tough game what did u expect it is an lions team thats 3-10 that plays like an 7-6 team.Fine fire the offensive line coach maybe are WR coach because i think it won't make a difference.

lol this was the most hilarious, out of place comment. You picked a bad thread to post this in because no one blamed the coaches. Not a single poster said anything about a coach.
